About Nexus
Nexus Software Solutions

Nexus is property maintenance software: a tenant reports a problem, a manager dispatches it, a technician fixes it and logs the work, and the invoice is drafted from that log. Reported to resolved, in one place, on the phone your crew already carries.
Who builds it
Nexus is built, run and supported by one person: James Perkins, in Savannah / Coastal Georgia. It operates as Nexus Software Solutions.
There is no call centre and no ticket queue between you and the code. When you write or call, you reach the person who wrote the software, and the person who can change it.
Why it exists
Most property software is a full property-management system with a maintenance tab bolted on. The maintenance part is where the work actually happens: the leak at 2 a.m., the technician standing in a unit with no signal, the owner asking what a repair cost. Nexus does that part and nothing else, so it can do it properly.
- Tenants file a request for their own unit, with photos, and follow it to the end
- Managers and dispatchers see every request on one board, ordered by what will hurt most if it is missed, and put a name on it
- Technicians work from their phone, and the app keeps working with no signal
- Every job keeps its photos, notes, hours and parts, and the invoice is drafted from them
- Each person sees only what their role needs: a technician sees their own jobs, a tenant sees their own unit
Your software, if you need it to be
Nexus works out of the box for most portfolios. If yours needs something it does not do, a different workflow, an integration, or a feature for a larger operation, it can be built for you.
- We agree on the work in writing before any of it starts
- The build fee is set up front and based on the complexity and the risk of the work
- Portfolios of any size can be set up this way
How your data is handled
- Passwords are hashed, never stored as written
- Card numbers never touch our servers. Payments run on Stripe
- Application data is stored in Google Cloud (Firestore), and database rules deny direct browser access to it
- Signing out clears the work cached on the device, so a shared phone does not hand one technician's jobs to the next
- We do not sell your data
The full list of the services that handle your data is in the Privacy Policy, at https://www.nexus-software-solutions.com/privacy.
Support
We reply within one business day. Write or call:
- Email: james.perkins@nexus-software-solutions.com
- Phone: 843-593-0908

Nexus is not an emergency service. A tenant with a fire, a gas leak or a flood should call 911 or the utility first, then report it.
